Krista Walsh

Krista is the founder and President of KC Collect!, the first women-owned and operated collection agency in the province of Prince Edward Island. Since it’s inception in 2005, KC Collect has grown from a mere six clients in it’s first year to becoming one of the largest collection agencies on Prince Edward Island. In 2010 Krista was named as one of 21 Inc’s Emerging Leaders for Atlantic Canada and has been the recipient of many awards including “Business of the Year”, by The Eastern PEI Chamber of Commerce.
As well as operating KC Collect, Krista is a receivables specialist and facilitator for Profit Learn PEI, and instructor for PEI’s Junior Achievement. She is a regular writer for National Credit News, Credit and Collection Risk World, Inside ARM, Microbilt, and her column “Credit Crunch” is featured in Island Business News.
She is a past director for the PEI Business Women’s association, was recently elected as a director with the Eastern PEI Chamber of Commerce and has been the president of Volleyball PEI for the last five years.

On December 14 2012, after two days of training and testing in Kingston, Jamaica, Krista was designated as a certified trainer for S.M.A.R.T. Collections as well as The P.A.C.E. Program (c).

Steve Coyle

Steve Coyle is Director of ICPC, Asia and is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

He holds and MBA and is a Certified Credit Executive as well as a C.F.C.P. Steve was the collection manager for Malaysia’s largest cellular service provider. He is the author of “Debt Collections: Stir-Fried or Deep-Fried?”

On October 14th in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Steve was certified as a trainer for S.M.A.R.T. Collections as well as The P.A.C.E. Program (c).

 

Ken Young:

Ken Young has been a credit management professional for over twenty-five years and has global experience in a broad range of industries including the food (aquaculture & beverage), chemical, manufacturing and transportation sectors. Most recently he was the Credit& Collection Manager at PepsiCo Beverages Canada.

Ken has served on numerous boards, including the Credit Institute of Canada, the National Credit & Financial Executives’ Forum, the Raw Material Credit Group and the International Center for Professional Collectors. Ken has been awarded the highly esteemed CCP Emeritus award from the Credit Institute of Canada for distinguished and meritorious service for the advancement of credit education and the credit profession.

Ken Young believes in the concept of ‘paying it forward’ and has demonstrated his commitment as co-author of “The Mentorship”, tales of success and lessons learned in the field of credit and collection management.
